This Healthy Snickers Apple Salad is as good or BETTER than the unhealthy version. It’s made with low-fat cream cheese and a healthier whipped topping. Only 6 ingredients total! It’s gluten-free and can easily be made dairy-free and vegan!

Gluten-Free Snicker Salad Ingredients 

I am convinced this healthy gluten-free snicker salad recipe is even easier than the ones that call for a pudding mix. You only need 5 ingredients!

  1. Low-Fat Cream Cheese Or Vegan Cream Cheese)
  2. Truwhip Or Coconut Whipped Topping
  3. Apples (any variety)
  4. Homemade Millionaire Bars (see substitution options below)
  5. Dry Roasted Peanuts

How Do You Make Healthy Snicker Salad?

You literally pop everything into a bowl and mix it up! No baking, kneading dough, or anything!!! I can’t wait for you to whip it up for your next family gathering!

Healthy Snickers Caramel Apple Salad

So how do you get that Snickers bar taste without using actual snickers bars? I just chopped up a few of my Homemade Healthy Millionaire Bars and added in some dry roasted peanuts to the salad to get the perfect snickers flavor! My millionaire bar recipe is completely gluten-free and vegan, making this snickers salad something everyone can enjoy at your next holiday feast!

  • What kind of apples for snicker salad? You can use LITERALLY ANY KIND Of Apple you have on hand. I used some honey crisp apples. Granny Smith would be delicious too! We aren’t biased here though. Use whatever apples you have!
  • Do you peel the apples for snickers apple salad? Peeling the apples is completely up to you! I left mine with the peel on and it was fantastic! I would say leave the peel on, saves you time and you get that extra fiber from the apple peel. 
  • What if you don’t have time to make the homemade healthy millionaire bars? Oh, I love this question! If you don’t have time to make the millionaire bars, I would suggest just adding ½ cup chopped dairy-free dark chocolate, 1 cup roasted peanuts, and a few drizzles of your favorite nut or seed butter (almond butter would probably be the closest flavor to caramel). You won’t get the same caramel taste or have the chewy cookie pieces in it, but it will still be delicious!

Ingredients

  • 4 oz Low-Fat Cream Cheese (or vegan cream cheese) *softened
  • 1 Tub (9 oz) Truwhip Whipped Topping (sub coconut whipped cream if vegan)
  • 3 Apples (any variety) (3- 3½ Cups diced. You don’t have to peel them)
  • 3 Homemade Millionaire Bars (about 1½ Cups Chopped) (See Note 1 for sub-options)
  • ¾ Cup Dry Roasted Peanuts (whole or roughly chopped)
  • Optional: Drizzle Peanut Butter or Any Nut/Seed Butter (code “shh20” for free shipping on this clean brand)

Instructions

1. In a medium/large bowl, mix the softened cream cheese and Truwhip until well combined.

2. Then, fold in the diced apples, chopped millionaire bars, and peanuts. Optional: drizzle on some nut butter of choice.
